This is my outta this world story.

This is my outta this world story.

On Jupiter there is no water, that means no living things can live on Jupiter. Living on Jupiter wold be hard. You'll would need lots and lots of water and other things to live on Jupiter.

To make sure we have lots of water, we could bring a giant water maker, that makes water that lasts for twenty years. We would have loads of water. It might last longer then twenty years for one person.

We could eat a special kind of chocolate that doesn't make us dehydrate. You only need to eat one bar of the special chocolate, it lasts up to one week. It helps you live on other plants and is delicious at the same time.

Another way to have water on Jupiter is to bring, huge bombs that are like water. Every time you breath in, it is like you are drinking water. It can taste like anything.

If I were you, I would bring the giant water maker, I would bring it because it lasts long.

I wish that there was lots of food so that I don’t always go back to earth and back to Jupiter.

Ice Cream Comets

With all the exciting news that I heard from Miss King was that we were going to make Ice Cream Comets.

As Miss King drop a chanck of ice cream in to my hands. It was so freezing and that is why I wanted to let it go. But I did not. The sprinkles made the ice cream look fabulous. I was waiting to put an ice cream cone underneath it.

Before I got a cone to put the ice cream in it, it was dripping through my hands. As I was eating it I my face was coverd in ice cream because it was so delicious. I wanted more but there was not a lot left to have seconds.

I had enjoyed those ice cream comets.

Room 13 made icky alien snot and it was an activate.

The things you need to make alien snot is simple. You need a little bit of water a bowl and some cornflour & some green food colouring and a spoon.

First you poor 1 cup of cornflour in your bowl. Then you poor in that little bit of water & then stir it with that spoon. Know add the green food colouring and there you have alien snot.

That was a great thing to do if you are learning about space.

Rocket Launch

Sweating and shaking with fear I straped the seatbelt around me so I will be safe. I had all the gear to go on this marvellous trip to mars. He finaly said "lifted-off into the sky.

I felt terrible because my body was screaming and I fell right back into my set. It was very loud because the engine had a lot of pressure to zoom into a different place. Things there were amazing. So many interesting things that were up in space. I have been once before to mars & this is my 2nd time.

Taking some pictures with my space photography camera, I whispered to my self "wow" I am lucky to go to mars for four weeks. Yes I have made it to mars again.

Rushing out with excitment I yelled from my heart "I love space."

Auckland Warriors

Meanga tatou ki te rekareka: Lets have some fun! Rugby league brings us together.

As the fighting Vodafone Warriors got prepped to challenge the mighty Manly Sea Eagles.
They played in Sydney, Australia on Sunday afternoon. Manu’s desire to win, as he dodged and sidestep down the side line to score our first try.

The Manly Sea Eagles were on match for the Warriors but the Manly Sea Eagles did not give up. Some of the Warriors got some tries & some of them had amazing skills to perform in front of the crowd. I was so proud that the Warriors went hard out to win this incredible match.

Before the game was over I had noticed that the Manly Sea Eagles had won. Kau mau te wehi Warriors! Maybe next time you will be holding that trophy!!!!

I was so excited when the All Blacks had bet Japan. I had yelled out “Go Sonny Bill Williams” when he had got a try. I said to myself “I know the ABs have won".

Levi's ALFAJORCITOS

Mmmm huele los aflajorcitos tan riquisimo. Room 13 were so lucky to make alfajorcitos in their class.

“Come on & eat these very delicious aflajorcitos with me.”

The Alfajorcitos are from Argentina and are their favourite treat.
Alfajorcitos are a sort of biscuit filled with a kind of caramel. They tasted very nice. Listen to this “they are delicioso”.

We got two biscuits to spread the dulce de leche on with a knife. After squishing the biscuits together, we rolled them in coconut. They were so nice to eat that I dribbled everywhere. I asked the teacher for some more but she said no.

I didn’t eat a lot because they might make me fat. But they did taste nice. I know will stuff an alfajorcito into my mouth if I ever see one again.

Levi's AFL Story

What a day this is to play AFL on Thusrdays. Come and join me.

The weather kept changing from sunshine to blustery, cold and wet. As we were playing the wind was getting to the point of when it would be like a cyclone. As the wind got stronger and stronger I got even weaker and weaker.

Our warm up was called “Bumper Jumper”. You play by hopping and using your shoulders to make your partner fall over. While bumping my partner I had fun and I won too!

Then we went on the courts to do some AFL skills. One of the skills we learnt was how to bounce the ball while jogging. First we did it on our knees, then while walking and finally we tried jogging.

After bouncing the ball we played a game called “kick baseball”. This game helped us practiced lots of our skills. It was sort of like regular baseball, but we kicked the ball. I kicked and ran but before I got to the base I had to bounce the ball. I fumbled and slipped in the mud. While fielding my team caught lots of players out. That is what made our team win.

We were filed of excitement when we heard that we had won. Hopefully we get to play that game again.

Playstation 3 Weekend

I was doing amazing moves on the Playstation 3, as we were playing Lego Star Wars 2. There were fantastic levels to be played by some awesome kids. My favorite character in Lego Star Wars 2 was Master Windu, because he had a purple lightsaber and had a baldy.

Master Windu was very skillful and he also had powers like the force and other things. He had awesome moves, he was very smart and he was a master of some of the Jedis. As me and my brothers played Star Wars, we had to share it, so I played with Toby, and Jordan was with Noah.

We only had four days to play on it. As we were playing it, we had to come up with a plan to go to the next level. We also were fighting over the playstation because we wanted to keep on playing.

I have typed all of the cool games that we got to play and here is the list: Tekken 6, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Despicable me. I am eagerly awaiting for the next round of Playstation.

Cross Country

Before giving a burst of speed I was so scared, I felt sick. I began taking deep breaths.

Eagerly waiting for Pt England’s Cross Country to start, I was nervous. I wanted to beat Jabez. As Mr Burt said "On your marks, get set, go!!" I charged so I could stay at the front.
Despite my nerves. I said to myself "You can do it".

During the race it was very hard to stay on the path, as it was narrow and twisted and turned all over the place. Sometimes I had to go off the track, onto the grass, to be able to pass people. My heart pounded as fast as a machine to get blood to my screaming lungs.

Towards the end of the race, I knew that I was in front. I challenged myself to not let anyone pass me. Digging deep to find my energy, I charged towards the finish line.

Approaching my ultimate goal, I sprinted like a chicken to collapse over the line - victorious! I had beaten Jabez and won the Cross Country for the second time since I have been at school!

I felt so proud of myself for surpassing my expectations and getting my champion’s title. Bring on next year!

New Zealand has lots of treasures like the Buzzy Bee. A Buzzy Bee is a New Zealand playful toy, which is an old icon. In the 1930’s the Buzzy Bee was made. Lots of children like to enjoy their Buzzy Bee.

Snow Boarding

Dashing down with a powerful push I zoomed down the snow like lightening. As I zigzaged down the smooth snow that I had to make it. While I dashed down I said to myself “don’t fall Levi, don’t”.

Carving my way through the icy snow, and I had fallen over. I was amazed seeing my very cool parents snow boarding with there fabulous moves. Me and my mum are not good turners on our snow boards but we won’t give up. I had a great time snow boarding.

Were we went to snow board on the snow mountain at Ohakune. Tasting the fresh wind while it was blowing in my face. I had been twisting and turning so that I could be like my amazing father. Seeing other great snow boarders zoom right passed me, I thought” I would be like them.” When my pretty mother had twisted her leg then she didn’t give up.

Jordan my brother had not fallen off his snow board and he was fantastic. Building a small hut that me and Jordan could play war in it. Sticks and logs were fun to play with. Then we climbed up a tree. We looked like crazy monkeys. Our pretty mother took some pictures of us in our hut. We should make more huts. It’s cool making them. If you make a hut you are amazing. Huts are amazing. the secret enter door was very secret. That was my best door to the hut.

Jonah Lomu

Jonah Lomu was a great runner so the All Black coach was really excited that he asked Jonah Lomu to join the all blacks. He was so amazing that he played 63 games with the all blacks. He played in Wales then Hong Kong. He was a global champion.
He had dialysis in 2003 and his kidneys were a problem to him because he couldn’t play rugby. Then in 2004 he had a transplant then in 2005. He began to come back to the all blacks. He got so tired of playing rugby so he did give because he was getting to old to play rugby.

Weet-Bix Challenge

I have never laughed so much and got so messy at assembly until today. I was a part of a weet-bix challenge where you had to stand behind a person and feed them weet-bix. The first team to finish all the weet-bix was the winner. Each team had two people and there were three teams. Miss Lavakula was in my team Mrs Barks shouted out "3, 2, 1 go!!!" I rushed and even though I struggled getting the weet-bix into her mouth and made a mess on the stage, Miss Lavakula and I won.

I pretended I had not eaten for a whole year, and that's why I think we won. Maybe next time Miss Lavakula could feed me because I love weet-bix.

Back To The Future

Reversing out of the driveway, as the tyres were screeching and squealing. “Hey Doc you better back up, we don’t have to 88.” Marty said, feeling scared and nervous. Gazing and shivering everywhere as we were about to take off into space.
Doc said “Roads, where we’re we don’t need roads.” as he was putting his funky glasses on and fiddling with buttons. The Delorean took off with a burst of fire.

I, Levi, Am Making Movies 2

Excitedly, I raced down the red carpet, with some of my class. Charlie from What Now, gave us our prize, for Best Production.

At the Museum, there was a competition called,"I am making movies 2". Don't forget your root's" was our movie. It's about different cultures coming to New Zealand and making friends with other people you don't know. They could help you during hard times. It was cool to watch other people's movie's. I felt terrific when Point England School had won the supreme prize. Everyone was talking loudly in the bus as we drove back to school.

Swimming

I really enjoyed swimming with Room 13 this year. I improved my kicking which made me faster. Next year I want to get better at knowing where I am going and swimming in a straight line.

The BFG

Sophie was in the dark cave as the BFG was getting the frobscottle from the cupboard. “Would you like to have some frobscottle?” He asked Sophie. In his hand the BFG held a pale green drink where the bubbles appeared to burst downwards.”Why are the bubbles going down?” Sophie said. “Bubbles always go down never up. Is that what it does in your drinks? How redunkulous!” the BFG said. Drinking some of the frobscottle the BFG did a massive whizz popper and he went flying like a rocket up in the air. “How rude!” Sophie commented. Sophie then tried some of the frobscottle herself. Bubbles fizzed downwards in her tummy and ultimately came out in the most rudest and inappropriate of ways!

Life or Death

I am scared of the darkness because I always think that there are ghost out there. So I put on a jumper and go outside through the nice, lovely air. I hear a sound, so look with my torch. Where ever I point it at there's a spider hiding. So I run as fast as I can into the house and I say to myself “Woo!!! I am never going to go into the darkness again."

Alien Earth Base

I was reading a book about aliens in a comic so after I had read I got to draw them on paper. Once I was finished I had to use a vivid to go over my pencil to make it darker so you can see it much clearer. After I had put the vivid on my pictures I had to take photos of it and put it on comic life. Now I am putting it on my blog.

Auckland's Tornado

Twisting and turning, this amazing tornado touched the ground. As cold and warm air come together the air began to spin. I could not believe it when I saw this ON TELEVISION!!! I just sat there, watching it, because I was amazed of what this incredible thing could do. I have never seen something crazy like a tornado before, crash into buildings and flip over cars or even put trampolines on to people’s houses.

Straw Bridges

When we were sitting on the mat our teacher Miss King told us that we were going to do something extraordinary!!! So I was listening quickly. Then she told us that we were going to make straw bridges. I wasn't sure how this would work but there was nothing else I could do but try to do it. We had to make the bridge as strong as possible, so that it could hold a thousands block. Then we all tested them, however I got bored with some slow pokes in my group and sadly, we lost. Our bridge couldn't hold the weight. ‎

Straw Towers

We had 75 straws for a group and a roll of tape,do you think that you could build a tall tower of straws with materials?

What we did was that we got into groups of six's.
The people that were in my team were all my friends and me.
Some of us were planning for the straw towers.

Well we did go well at first and then we got into a big problem, was that we had to use our fingers and play around with it so we fixed it up and kept on building until the straw challenge was over and my team had won it.

At Lake Tarawera

One dark night my family and I were playing spotlight outside of the house in Lake Tarawera. So we all hid far away and tried to get back to the base without being caught with a torch .Were I hid on the roof just behind the base that I secretly hid like a ninja but finally they left so I jumped down from the roof to the base!

Levis plate day

Straight after school, me and my family went to a place called orthodontist to get a plate, to fix my teeth. When we got there they told me the rules about the plate so I would not break it. When the lady put the plate in my mouth she told me to talk. So I did and I sounded funny when the plate was in my mouth. It felt weird wearing it. The best part about getting a plate is saying funny words, but the worst part was getting food stuck in my plate. But definitely the best part of getting a plate is my teeth will get fixed.

Movie for Christchurch

Mr Burt asked our whole school to think about what we would like to do to show our support for Christchurch. I thought that I would like to make a movie - I love making movies. Lucky for me, my Mum and Dad helped me out to come up with some cool ideas. I then got my teacher and class to join in with the fun.
I hope you like the movie Christchurch, we made it just for you.

An earthquake is when the plates rub together.
It became very dark because dust from crumbling bricks, meaning that people could not see anything.
Heroes and rescuers found some of the people trapped under buildings that had been crushed. It was very sad when the people were buried inside.

Pre-Season Training

I went to the hall at 7.45 to get fit. When I got there I felt so fit I could run for ever!
First we did running then we did press ups with Miss V. For running we had to run 10m to the red line, turn around and go back to the start mat. When it wasn't our turn to run we had to do star jumps.
At training we did all sorts of different activities one after another. We all got extremely tired and my heart was feeling uncomfortable, like maybe it wanted to come out of my chest!
I can't wait to go back again on Monday!
Thanks Miss V

Learning Baseball.

Instead of playing baseball we were playing t-ball. When we got to the bottom field we met a man named Cola who is a pro at t-ball. There were three bases and a base that is home. Some of us got home runs and others got tagged by the ball. I was the catcher behind the batter who hit the ball.
